DESCRIPTION The Product Design Technician – Level III utilizes advanced skills, knowledge, and experience to create and maintain specifications (drawings and models) of Cummins products. This role ensures adherence to company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization’s performance through high-quality design and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Create complex 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools. Perform quality checks on models and drawings prior to release. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to product specifications. Utilize PLM tools such as Windchill for configuration control and data security. Ensure compliance with Cummins, industry, and international design standards. Process internal engineering work requests and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
